Ms. Corinne Isaak, Research Associate
Corinne completed her Master of Sciences in the Department of Human Nutritional Sciences at the University of Manitoba in February 2006. Her thesis work focused on perspectives of First Nations people regarding diabetes prevention and health more generally, revealing a holistic view on health. Corinne's research interests are in qualitative research methodologies, Aboriginal health in general, nutrition and suicidal behaviour. While a student in the master's program Corinne received studentship awards from the Canadian Institute of Health Research (Interdisciplinary Health Research Team) and the Western Regional Training Centre for Health Services Research.
